The events that led up to me happening upon this cafe were absolutely tragic. My flight got cancelled and several other flights I tried to book were delayed; I was essentially stranded in Berkeley with a big board meeting waiting my arrival at work.
When I came into the cafe, the staff members were very helpful and kind and my iced latte and chicken sandwich were delightful. They had plenty of plugs and good WiFi for me to complete all of my work, all while playing a trendy playlist that I found quite nice. I really appreciated this cafe with the nice work environment and accommodating staff! Thanks, guys! -

CAFE MILANO could be the best place for cappuccinos in Berkeley. First of all, these cappuccinos set the standard by which one might compare cappuccinos available from other cafes in Berkeley, or from cafes in other parts of America. If you want a feather-design made on top of the foam, you can make this request to the server, and the server will make the feather design. Cafe Milano is easy to find after attending a concert at nearby Hertz Hall or at nearby Zellerbach Auditorium. Regarding meals, on several occasions I've ordered the Greek salad (feta cheese & olives) or the Italian salad (artichoke hearts and roasted peppers) at Cafe Milano. Each comes with foccacia. The quality of these salads is what one might expect from a location just north of the campus, that is, the Gourmet Ghetto. The light streaming in from the tall windows on the north side of the cafe lend an airy and spacious quality to the cafe, while at the same time, excluding the harsh rays of the direct sun. Typically, a portfolio from this or that artist is displayed on the walls inside Cafe Milano, and this makes this cafe ever-more inviting to customers. My attached photographs provide examples from one of the portfolios that were exhibited (many years ago) at Cafe Milano. The artist is Mario Ferrari, who has an M.B.A. from U.C. Berkeley, and who spent his career teaching art at Richmond High.

I love this place! They got dope Greek salads with chicken. YES! The WiFi password is wack because it's hella long, but other than that, I go here all the time. Also, there are not a lot of outlets upstairs.

This place is a campus favorite! I just love coming here for the vibes and it would be great spot for a hangout some lunch or to grab a quick breakfast. They do have WiFi here but I wouldn't count on it too much. Ever since the renovations a lot more outlets are available on the first floor if you need a place to charge. Sometimes it works really well and sometimes it doesn't. They have a lot of pastries from muffins to croissants to cakes. They also have salads hot sandwiches paninis soups bagels breakfast burritos. They're drinks are good, nothing special. It can get a little bit loud here sometimes so if you are looking for a very quiet place to study this wouldn't be it. Hygiene wise they have gotten a lot better as well. My new favorite order is their hot stuffed croissant. The put the croissant in the panini machine which flattens it out and makes it all crispy and warm.

Cool shop with vibez. Simple menu for entrees and coffee/beverages. Very cool interior and food that hits the spot.
I got the pastrami sandwich on mexican bread which included salad. Both were refreshing and solid in portion.
